Fenwick Warehouse Sale Newcastle

The Fenwick Warehouse Sale is taking place this weekend.

Last year I bought a new house and although I loved it, it came with absolutely no furniture due to it being a new build.

Shortly after moving in I was told about the Fenwick Warehouse Sale, which was taking place at the store's warehouse a few weekends later. We turned up, around four hours after it opened, and managed to buy some beautiful dining room furniture and a hoover at a massively discounted rate.

All of the furniture was in perfect condition, however most of the stock was end of line - something that didn't bother me in the slightest.

The Fenwick Warehouse Sale is taking place again this Saturday (7th Sepember) and some stock has up to 70% off. The warehouse opens its doors from 8am-4pm and, after my last experience, I'd recommend arriving early if you're looking for something specific.

The sale is on a range of items including furniture, televisions, electrical, linens. cookware and prams.

For those who haven't been before, the Fenwick Warehouse Sale address is:

Mylord Crescent
Camperdown Trading Estate (located close to Killingworth)
NE12 5SP

I'd love to hear how you get on!

Tenji Newcastle - Japanese Restaurant

It's been a little while since I last blogged and I've got lots of exciting things to share. The first is about Tenji Newcastle, a fantastic Japanese buffet restaurant that I've recently discovered.

A family member first recommended this restaurant to me as I hadn't heard of it. Located on Barrack Road in Newcastle, Tenji is slightly on the outskirts of the city, however I wouldn't let this put you off.

For just £19.90, you can eat all you want. Additionally, for an extra £6 you can drink all you want too (this is restricted to wine, beer, soft drinks and sake).

In addition to hot starters, there is a fantastic selection of sushi and seafood to start. I love sushi and this is definitely my favourite part of the meal.

The main course offers a selection of meats that are cooked to order and brought to your table. A range of other dishes are available as part of the buffet, alongside the usual noodles and rice. I must admit that I've never had dessert, however it's always looked appetising. I've tended to opt for a macaroon as I'm not really a dessert person.

The restaurant itself is well done out and there are numerous booths for those visiting in a group. Ample on-site parking makes Tenji Newcastle easily accessible, however for £26.90 all you can eat and drink I'd imagine lots of people opt-out of bringing a car.

This restaurant is definitely worth a look for those who like Japanese food or fancy trying something different. A lunch menu is in operation during the day, with all you can eat for £10.90. You really can't go wrong!!
