Epernay Bridal - my new wedding dress shop in Newcastle!

I want to apologise for the serious lack of posts over the past month! I do have a very valid excuse however, as my time has been spent launching a fantastic new venture, a wedding dress shop called Epernay Bridal in Gosforth, Newcastle upon Tyne.

I've absolutely loved the process of setting up my own wedding dress shop and have handpicked each and every dress in our boutique. We are now officially open and currently in the process of recruiting some new staff (anyone who is interested in our vacancy can find further information here) who will work in the boutique alongside my mum and I. Our services include bride and bridesmaid dresses, made-to-order veils, headpieces, alterations and wedding post box hire.

Many of my readers may know that I got married in July last year. I loved every minute of it and one of the most exciting prospects of owning my own wedding dress shop is being able to help and assist others whilst they make the same journey. I have always had a keen interest in fashion, something which played a big part in my decision to branch out and start my second business.

The whole ethos of our store is to create a friendly and relaxed environment for every single person who walks through our door. No hard sales pitches, just friendly advice and help.

The shop was previously a physiotherapist clinic and I fell in love with the premises the minute I walked in. We look out onto a beautiful village green, have a garden at the back, ample free parking and plenty of space for our many gowns, veils and headpieces. Additionally - and probably my favourite feature of all - our boutique boasts a completely private dressing room with enough room to accommodate a bride's full party. We also have a seating area in our main showroom for those who don't wish to use the private facilities. 

We do encourage brides to make an appointment to guarantee use of our private dressing room, however walk-in appointments are also available. At each appointment, brides will have a one-on-one consultation with one of our consultants before picking out the dresses they would like to try. Complimentary tea, coffee and prosecco will be provided at each consultation.

Epernay Bridal is located in Melton Park in Gosforth, which is located opposite Brunton Park and in between Newcastle Racecourse and the Northern Rugby Club. We are now officially open and appointments can be booked by emailing .
